I am not even sure where to begin so much has happened in the last 6 and a half years. I guess I should begin in the beginning. March 2, 2012, the journey I had been taking my family on changed suddenly. The man I loved died suddenly of a MI (heart attack). Life was forever changed that night. I became a single mom.
This change did not deter my ultimate goal of living a sustainable life with my family. I had to change how I am to achieve that goal. So I picked up the kids, the dogs, and what could fit into a small uhaul truck. We said good bye to the friends we made in Myrtle Beach, SC and went back to Virginia.
I am not going to bother you with every little detail, that would take up taken the bandwidth of the internet. Suffice to say my dad moved in with me and the kids, I went back to school and got my RN. Much of my journey can be found in the blog posts. Where I am right now is living in central Virginia, in the house my parents built in the 70s, near my dad’s side of the family.
Things I have learned:
- Life isn’t about the final destination.
- It’s the journey that matters.
- More importantly it is who choose to travel with.
- The answer to Tina Turner’s question, “Is there life after love?” Is yes, there is.
What I want to share with you all, is my journey, my wild and crazy ideas, and all the things I am doing to reach my goals.
- Lifestyle changes to be more natural.
- Parenting adventures.
- Food! I just love food.
- My spiritual life.
- How I am working towards my ultimate goal.
- There might even be the chance to shop.
So please join me on this wild and crazy adventure. Buckle up, keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times, life is a rollercoaster ride.
Light, Love, and Peace
